Product Details

When the encoder is in operation, the two magnetic field sensors located on the readhead will each generate a sinusoidal signal as they pass through the N and S stages. The phase shift between these two signals is unique for every location around the disk. The readhead converts this analog phase shift into digital signals, each of which corresponds to a unique rotational position on the ring.
